Lowpass is proud to present the first chapter of a new series inviting listeners to disconnect from the outside world and lose themselves in deep, expansive ambient and experimental sounds.

The event will take place in the beautiful Church of Schillerkiez, with cosy spaces to sit or lie down, offering a setting designed for deep listening and quiet immersion.

We invited JakoJako, who will perform live alongside a dancer. She explores the spaces that emerge between the technical and emotional sides of sound, guided by both rigorous knowledge and unrestrained intuition. A Berghain resident with releases on Tresor, Mute, and Leisure System, her work is rooted in the tension and release of techno, yet shaped by ever-expanding forms and structures. In her ambient performances, arrangements of sound speak to both vastness and intimacy, reflecting a constant curiosity for new contexts and a deep relationship with analogue and modular synthesis.

We also invited Philippe Cam, described by Traum Schallplatten as the Thomas Pynchon of the electronic music world. He is among the few people who have succeeded to write hypnotic dance music without a conventional beat still conveying a thrilling, dramatic feel. It is very special for us to have him coming from France to perform live.

Our resident APRS will perform his ambient live debut. Led by an unrushed, explorative approach in the studio, he will present a more peaceful and ethereal part of his work.

We will also welcome Tancrède, a classically trained harpist who is pushing the boundaries of his instrument. He experiments with unconventional tools like scissors and screwdrivers to craft unique electronic textures while using effects and pedals to amplify the harp’s ethereal acoustic qualities.

Lowpass Co-Founder Serenus will open the event, going back to his roots by taking listeners on a hybrid live journey through explorations with electro-acoustic instruments and deep, pulsing low-end architectures, always looking for surprises through combining both live jams and DJing.
