Am Nil

Milan aka Am Nil and Max go back a long time. Having met as music enthousiasts almost ten years ago, their synthesizer collection grew almost as fast as their friendship and found a new home in a music studio during the first lockdown. The studio eventually became a hub for a lot of what constitutes lowpass today: a place for jams and experimentation, a musical oasis for us and our friends and most of all a sonic escape from the busy life of the city.

Throughout these years, Milan has shaped his sound as well as his setup to match his taste and personality. Since becoming a Lowpass resident, he has performed modular live sets at many Lowpass nights, often delivering high quality deep, trippy, and driving big-room techno.

Am Nil biography :

Am Nil is a musician experimenting with sonic alchemy through the energy of live performance. Originally from Belgrade, he learned an experimental approach to improvisation while playing saxophone and clarinet with trip-hop and jazz bands.

Today, Am Nil’s current modular set serves as his sonic laboratory, enabling him to orchestrate and construct immersive techno soundscapes on the dance floor. His live act is a journey through pulsating voltage and quirky melodies, building sonic landscapes and weaving together layers of sound with an instinctive touch.
