We met Benabou through Reka Zalan as she was moving to Berlin. We enjoyed her curation as a DJ as well as her devotion to music both as a producer and sound engineer. That night she played a beautiful stomping and atmospheric techno set.

Exploring the vinyl labyrinths of Europe, French DJ and producer Benabou has immersed herself in the eclectic world of techno. Drawing inspiration from major labels like Token, Polegroup, Eaux, Semantica, Warp, and Northern Electronics, her productions are enriched with experimental resonances. From a young age, Benabou developed a strong affinity for the fluid sounds of jazz, soul, and psychedelic music, which naturally led her to infuse her tracks with ambience and ethereal synths, creating a dark, hypnotic atmosphere. Benabou’s work has found home on labels like Gynoid Audio, Substantiv, Take Hit, Cosmic Wave, Construct Reform, D.KO Records, Warok, and S.Labs. Beyond production and DJing, she applies her expertise to mastering and vinyl cutting, collaborating with labels such as SK_eleven and working at the renowned Manmade Mastering Studio. Since her debut, Benabou has graced the decks of some of France and Germany’s most iconic venues: including Rex Club, Concrete, and the legendary Tresor.
